Youra’s book, The CopyRider, available on Amazon, was written to help creators understand this principle and navigate the rapidly changing landscape of creativity in the age of AI. The book introduces the idea that human creators must remain at the center of the creative and economic systems that produce art, knowledge, and technological advancement.

Written in accessible language, the book is designed for a broad audience that includes:

• aspiring writers, artists, musicians, and filmmakers
• students and teachers exploring creativity and intellectual property
• entrepreneurs and innovators working with digital technologies
• anyone seeking to understand the relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence

At its core, The CopyRider is both an educational guide and a philosophical exploration of why copyright exists and how it fuels progress. By connecting constitutional principles with the realities of modern technology, Youra argues that protecting human authorship is essential to sustaining the creative ecosystem that powers innovation.

The CopyRider is ultimately about empowerment,” Youra said. “It teaches creators—especially young and aspiring creators—that their ideas, imagination, and creative work are the foundation of progress. Technology can amplify that creativity, but it begins with the human mind.”

As artificial intelligence enters the arena of creative production, Youra believes the reaffirmation of human authorship by the courts arrives at a pivotal time.

“This moment is not about resisting technology,” he said. “It is about remembering that the engine behind civilization’s progress—the engine behind science, art, and technology itself—is the human imagination.”
